About Columbus Grill and Chef Nuno Duarte
After many years of owning and operating successful restaurant, catering, and bar concepts in Portugal, Switzerland, and the US, owner Nuno Duarte decided that there was nowhere locally to get something great to eat with the charm, ambience, and an upscale atmosphere he envisioned. He also wanted a place to have a great time after your meal and into the night, or to host your next party or banquet.
After consulting his family, and especially his brother Antonio, one of the biggest caterers in Portugal and a renowned chef himself, Nuno decided it was time to give it a try. 
He purchased local legendary furniture store, CL Barnes, in October 2007 and custom built it to fit his dreams. The name Columbus Grill was chosen to inspire the patrons' passion for exploring a great dining experience, just as Columbus had a passion for exploring uncharted territory. In a setting of custom millwork, upscale ambiance, and accentuated by the custom decor, Columbus Grill was born!
Nuno's expertise in Portuguese and Spanish cuisine is complimented by his chefs who have training and expertise in French, Greek, Italian, Tapas, and American cuisines.
Simple, delicious meals prepared with fresh ingredients by experienced chefs and served by attentive staff a combination that can't be beat.
With all of this, combined with great food and service, Columbus Grill hopes to earn the distinction of being one of your favorite restaurants and nightspots.
